I think we would be better phoning the steward to find out if the room is in use. I dont think their I.T. callendar system is being used properly. I suspect that the word 'Busy' just means that somebody has booked an odd hour , say for table tennis and doesnt refer to the full day.
Good Afternoon Friends.
I've just returned from Trimpell Club, after visiting to (a), see if anyone was about outdoors, (as was the case last Sunday) and (b), to collect my shiny new Membership Card.
As I was already on the premises, I took a look in the Ballroom and somewhat to my surprise, found it completely devoid of humanity. There were two or three tables in the centre of the room, but no one there to even ask about it's supposed occupancy.
It's a funny old world.
I was there around 15.00 hrs, but didn't linger.

SORRY ABOUT THE POOR VIDEO QUALITY, I WAS JUST MESSING AROUND TRYING TO WORK OUT HOW TO PUT VIDEO ONTO THE WEBSITE. THIS WAS DIRECT FROM A WEBCAM..
Please note the Titch Little is moving house and will therefore have no telephone or e-mail facilities until sometime in the New Year. Therefore if you intend to fly could you please contact Jean Roberts (the lady co-ordinating the study) directly at jeanrbts6@aol.com. Many thanks

Please note Titch Little's e-mail address is titchlittle@gmail.com. Ithink many members are still using an old address - apologies for not noticing this earlier.

Can I remind everyone that if you intend to fly you need to let me (Titch Little) know so that if the ornithologist contacts me I can tell him whether or not anyone will be flying on a given day. Please do not rely on someone else. Even if you are flying with a friend and you know the friend has told me, I still need to know that you are going too. Clearly there will be more disturbance if seven or eight people are flying than just one or two. It is important! If we do not participate in the survey(through apathy) its fin
Hi all,
I have today received a free First Aid kit from the North West Area of the BMFA and I will bring it down to the field as soon as I can. I have, of course, written to acknowledge receipt and offer our thanks.

Hi, you may all have received your BMFA News recently but I don't apologise for posting some of it here for your perusal. Manny Williamson (BMFA Development Officer) gave his permission for me to extract some of his Chacksfield Chat and add it here and I think it very sensible and something the club should be thoughtful of:
I can confirm that the bird study will commence on 1st November this year funded by the BMFA probably over the whole of the winter period. The ornithologist will need to assess the effect our flying has on the birds during the over-wintering period. This means that he will need to know when flying is taking place and the BMFA has asked him to liaise with me (Titch Little) to find out when the site will be being used. This, in turn, means that I will need to know! This is just a 'heads up' to let people know that, as from the start of our
Hey guys,
Hope all is well! Just thought I'd post up a video of me flying my little Extra 300 indoors last Saturday. Bit of a crash at the end but at only 33g, there was no real damage.
Just hope I can do this with my 87" Sbach 342 that's arriving next month!
