We hope you enjoy looking through our site which is designed both for members as well as those of you just browsing or interested in model aeroplanes. BMFA and LAMMAC Subscriptions : Please note that members who do not renew their 2012 membership by the 31st January are not entitled to use the facilities of the club and are not covered under the BMFA Insurance scheme.

Flying Times : As per planning application 10/00343/VCN
Winter Flying (1st Oct - 31st March) : Sat, Sun (midday - 6 pm) and 3 other days (midday - 9 pm)
Summer Flying (1st April - 30th Sept) : 7 day flying : weekdays (10am - 9 pm) and Sundays and B/Hols (midday - 6 pm).

N.B. Re no-fly zone : some members have recently questioned our safety officer about the no-fly zone. This was debated at the AGM 2011 and agreed but following a brief meeting on 16th April 2012, the area has been modified slightly to provide better safety for the public & members in the pits area, but to increase the flying space too.
PLEASE KEEP OUT OF THIS NO-FLY ZONE. See the club documentation or click here for an up-to-date picture of this area.

This pair of wheels are home made on my metal workers lathe. I had to make them in two sections to get the tyre on.
